How to foster emotional intelligence and resilience in children?

During childhood, many of kids are unaware of the feeling brewing inside of them due to some weird experience or any other particular issue. In such times, it would always be better for your children to learn different ways to control their emotional intelligence while also developing a resilient heart that could help them muster up the courage to handle any situation effectively. If the children cannot open themselves up to people they find safe to talk about anything happening in their life, it could be quite mentally stressful for them.

Ways to develop better intelligence and resilient power emotionally in children

  • Try and connect with them

Whenever a person feels that the one they are talking to is sitting on the boat like you, they would start to feel more comfortable discussing various topics. Moreover, it is nothing different for children as they also would like to engage in meaningful conversations with other kids with the same field of interest as theirs. Hence, connecting with them emotionally would help the children develop resilience in their feelings.

  • Spending time with parents

Parents could be the ultimate solution to various problems faced by children. At such a tender age, kids are not supposed to trust anyone other than their parents with feelings they have conjured up. Therefore, making your children comfortable talking with you as a parent and as their friend could be a huge step towards developing resilient mental power.

Developing emotional intelligence and mental resilience is crucial for children growing up from a younger age.
