Chakra’s that enlighten your life

The Indian sub-continent saw the emergence of, not just Ayurveda, but many mystical theories. Some of these were studied, practiced & adopted! Let us take a look at a few of those that were extensively welcomed all across the globe & try to understand the underlying benefits that are attached to them.

The word chakra, which translates to "wheel" in Sanskrit, describes the energy centers in your body. As they connect to crucial organs, bundles of nerves, and other regions of our spiritual body that have an impact on our physical and emotional wellbeing, they are believed to be spinning discs of energy that should remain "open" and aligned. Mantras are powerful, sacred words that, when sung with commitment and focus, have great consequences on all levels—physical, mental, and spiritual. Mantra yoga is a precise science in which the mantras serve as waypoints for the mind's wandering thoughts, guiding them to a relaxed posture for meditation.

There are known to be seven major chakras in Yoga.
Let us know them briefly …

These seven primary chakras each have a matching number, name, and color, and focus on a particular region of the spine from the sacrum to the top of the head.

  1. Root chakra

It is believed to be found at the base of the spine, in the tailbone area. The color red represents this chakra. When aligned this chakra can bring stability and physical wellbeing to your life.

  1. Sacral chakra

It is found just below the belly button, just above the pubic bone. The color orange represents this chakra. When aligned, this chakra can bring pleasure, creativity, and sexuality.

  1. Solar Plexus chakra

The upper abdomen, in the stomach area, is where you can locate this chakra. The color yellow represents this chakra. It is the chakra of our inner strength. This implies that it has to do with our sense of confidence and self-worth.

  1. Heart chakra

You can probably guess this one! As the name suggests, this chakra is located at the center of your chest. This chakra is represented by the color green. Since it is the middle chakra among the seven, it connects our top and bottom chakras and stands for our capacity for love and interpersonal connection. It can make us feel alienated, alone, and insecure when it's out of alignment.

  1. Throat chakra

It is located in your throat. This chakra is represented by the color blue. When you are in alignment, you will communicate and listen compassionately and speak with assurance since you are speaking truthfully to yourself.

  1. Third eye chakra

It is also known as the brow chakra. It can be found on your forehead between the eyes. Indigo is the color given to this chakra. People are said to follow their intuition and be able to perceive the broader picture when they are open and in sync with the third eye chakra.

  1. Crown chakra

The crown chakra can be found at the top of your head. The color violet or white represents this chakra. Those who have a blocked head chakra may come across as curmudgeonly, doubtful, or unyielding. When this chakra is open, it is said to offer happiness and enlightenment to the person and to assist in keeping all the other chakras open.
