How does music soothe our senses?

There is a deep science that is attached to music. A lot of research has gone into it & people are now getting to understand the underlying benefits of music in relation to their overall health.

Don't our workouts at the gym, or a run feel absolutely amazing when we have the music on? The pump that we get is beyond any protein shake or steroids!

And, it surely works wonders in the midst of heartbreak, or for that matter, any area/situation of life.

There are many attributes to music, but the most important one that needs to be talked about more often is its effect on our mental health. We are all struggling with one or more issues like anxiousness, sleeplessness, or even concentration problems. The stresses of life are present in each & every single soul that exists. While there are those who know how to fight them, others battle on the same front every single day! 

If mental health is not tackled at an early age, it can become life-threatening too.

Music has its own glorious aspects in helping us soothe, destress & relax in our daily stresses. 

Patients with memory loss can often remember songs and specific song lyrics. Doctors will often use music and lyric recall to help individuals retrieve lost memories. Certain music can trigger particularly unique memories- music from a specific time period will trigger memories from that time period. Want to remember something from the past? Listen to songs you listened to during that time!

When a child is in the womb of its mother, the beats of her heart are clearly heard & felt by the little one! It provides all the emotional support to the little one who is actually still very unaware of what lies ahead. Our mothers humming our favorite lullabies is a trick that the finest magicians would want to explore.

The ones who truly want to connect with the Divine often have music as a soul savior/ soother that takes them to unknown lands, even if it is at the subconscious level. The Hindu chants have a euphoric impact & listening to them on a daily basis can clear all of the negative vibrations that are otherwise so hard to detract. If one can chant these mantras, the possibility of an internal evolution is likely!
