Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover" - Mark Twain

"I don't think this is going to work." I don't believe it's conceivable. "I'm not sure I'll be able to do it." The mass of individuals on the planet is surrounded by doubts! But did you realize that uncertainty suffocates dreams more than failure?

Failures are significantly less effective than doubt in killing dreams. Why? When you're in doubt, you'll find that your frame of mind attracts negativity. It will also lead you to assume that you will never be able to realize your aspirations. And this is why the vast majority of people believe they will never be able to achieve their goals or even begin to pursue their dreams!

In order to be able to understand whether thing A is meant for you or thing B, the point is that you have got to jump into it and find out for yourself whether it was worth it or not. We tend to take a back seat before even hitting the gear because the cloud of ‘doubt’ weighs us down.

It could be starting a business, losing weight, or coming up with the most outlandish ideas in your head. FAILURE, ON THE OTHER HAND, WILL MAKE YOU BETTER! Each time you try something and fail, you may move closer to your goals, and you will almost always succeed in achieving the prize you are after.

Fear of failing is the source of some people's self-doubt. Some, on the other hand, are terrified of being successful. Whether you have full-blown imposter syndrome or just need a gentle reminder to push past your doubts, these tried-and-true strategies can help you embrace your achievements.

We would not have been the best captain of all time if Dhoni had not abandoned his government job and pursued his goal or got Ruskin bond as a writer, Amitabh Bachan as an actor, and so on if these amazing personalities would have not surpassed their fears and doubts. Never fuel your self-doubts with pessimistic thoughts. They're just monsters in your head that block you from finding a solution by causing you to think negatively.

Even at the bottom of the well, keep your mind healthy and happy. At the very least, you know you can't go any lower. Use this to get back into climbing. Never fall into the comparison trap; you are different from others in the same way they are different from you, and it doesn't make you better or worse; it simply means you are real.
